Bellingham Decking Builder
We build beautiful composite decks.
Composite Decks are built to last.
Invented back in the 1980s as an alternative to wood decking, composite decking, a wood-plastic mix, used to get a bad rap for a “fake” look, but it’s come a long way since then. Although it still doesn’t look the same as real wood does, some newer varieties look much more like it.
Composite decking is more durable than wood decking. It lasts up to 50 years, it doesn’t splinter, and it’s more resistant to scratches, stains, and warping. It also isn’t at risk from insect and moisture damage.
One place where composite decking still lags well behind wood is in heat absorption, but the good news is that some newer models reduce previous levels of heat absorption by up to 35%.
